The FIA president continues to insist on the idea of "cleaning up" communication between drivers. And if he fails to achieve this through sanctions, then encryption could come.
However, radio communication has already brought many unforgettable moments to motorsport fans, it is enough to remember the classics of Kimi Raikkönen or the lines of Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. However, the FIA is waging a war against both common sense and humor, due to which, from 2025, someone who speaks obscenely on the radio could lose points. And this is not good enough for Mohammed Ben Sulayem, who, on top of all this, would exclude viewers from the aforementioned experience and encrypt radio conversations.
"Are we going to stop live radio communication? There are such efforts. There are a lot of things that we are working on together with the promoters. Let no one forget that we are still the owners of the championship, we will decide in which direction to move forward." - said the sports leader.
We don't want to seem rude, but doesn't someone want to clean up this leadership at the FIA?
