The Red Bull Racing individual world champion believes that the young people at McLaren, especially Lando Norris, still have a lot to learn.
The Dutchman believes that if McLaren had behaved more consistently, then not he, but the papayas would have celebrated an individual world title:
"Lando Norris would have won the world title, regardless of my advantage. Simply because they had the best car, but as a team and individually they still have a lot to learn if they want to turn these credits into victories. They won the constructors' championship beautifully, that's ok, but they could have been better prepared for the drivers' race. Instead, what do I hear? Papaya rules... Seriously, is this a joke? What does this mean? That you can't compete? When they tell me such nonsense on the radio, I immediately react: shut up...!! That was missing, to be able to show strength." - revealed the secret of Max Verstappen.
Do you think that if Lando Norris had been more aggressive in certain situations, he would have really had a chance to beat Max Verstappen?
