And, by the way, an expired record that will surely expire after Miami. Endurance driver Richard Bradley says Liam Lawson is lurking because he is the future.
According to international media, Red Bull has offered Lawson a place starting in 2025 after his successful jump last year, but Bradley says he won't have to wait that long for a replacement:
"I'm 100% sure they'll offer him a seat after the Miami Grand Prix. Once the field moves to Europe, he won't be a Racing Bulls driver anymore. I wouldn't even expect that, just think about his incredible crash at Suzuka... It was incredible amateurism! As a young driver, I raced a lot in Japan and did a lot of races at Suzuka. You were laughed at in F4 for things like that... The way Ricciardo turned into Alexander Albon was a joke, but he doesn't have any of the qualities that would make him a good Formula 1 driver at the moment. The sooner Liam Lawson replaces him, the better it will be for everyone," said the Briton in the ELMS, who has a fierce opinion of Daniel Ricciardo.
