Ralf Schumacher believes that what is happening at Scuderia Ferrari is simply a joke. One of the most prestigious teams fighting for the world title made some mistakes over the weekend that, if anyone had seen them, would have laughed even in the most basic training series.
As a result, both of the team's crews were excluded after the Chinese Grand Prix, and this - according to Schumacher - will have serious consequences:
"Let's say Charles Leclerc was missing an element of the car. This missing part weighed two kilograms, which should have been calculated, and anyway... At this engineering level they should also be prepared with a safety factor. This is nothing more than pure incompetence. Lewis Hamilton's case is, unfortunately, even more serious and raises more serious questions. After Saturday's sprint race, he should have known how worn out the motherboard was. That's how what happened... I think there will be serious consequences, personal consequences!
"Such an error will not go unpunished and cannot be ignored. They had the speed to finish an excellent weekend, but what they did on Sunday is simply ridiculous, unacceptable, it is not Ferrari-level work, with such a performance they would not want to be champions," Schumacher expressed his severe but justified opinion.
