Ralf Schumacher believes it is impossible for Lewis Hamilton to reach Scuderia Ferrari this year, if the team manages to win in the individual competition, it will be thanks to Charles Leclerc.
Schumacher does not offer a professional explanation for this, but bases his statement on a feeling:
"I don't know why, but I have a feeling that if Ferrari manages to win the world title, Charles Leclerc will be the one to get it. When you change teams, you arrive at a new team in Formula 1, you need at least six to eight months to perfectly integrate into the working environment and to know yourself perfectly. And I think this is completely independent of how talented, fast, experienced or hardworking you are. Let's not forget that during this period Leclerc will not be sitting idle, on the contrary. He will use all the skills he can turn to his advantage. This includes his six years of experience, his fluent knowledge of the Italian language and, of course, the relationships he has built..." - the former pilot mused.
