Everyone remembers the "interlude" that interrupted the first start of the Australian Grand Prix, Isaac Hadjar's accident, the young driver's despair and Anthony Hamilton's consolation.
Then also that Helmut Marko called Hadjar's behavior "shameful", even unmanly, unbecoming of an athlete. Ralf Schumacher, on the other hand, was not pleased with Marko's opinion.
"I wouldn't have done something like that, but I understand how hard it is for a driver preparing for his first F1 race to process this at that moment. Up until then he had a sensational performance, he had the chance to debut with a nice result, with points, and here it happened. He felt like he had betrayed his team. Not to mention the fact that Red Bull is not exactly a very tolerant environment towards mistakes... But for despair and crying to be shameful? I think on the contrary, it can happen to anyone in such circumstances. It's cool to assume your feelings!" - he came to the defense of the young Schumacher in a sporting way.
