In 2025, six competitors will enter the circus of speed, and this year will be their first full season in F1. That's an unprecedented amount of rookies, and the official F1 channel didn't want to be left behind in showcasing them!
Taking advantage of the story, Formula 1 came up with the idea of why not create a documentary that illustrates the development of young people? That's how Rookies was born, which offers a 50-minute look at the evolution of Gabriel Bortoleto, Kimi Antonelli, Isack Hadjar, Jack Doohan and Oliver Bearman. Childhood dreams, behind-the-scenes moments, arriving at the F1 door... The film promises never-before-seen footage, with exclusive interviews with people who actively participated in the young people's search for self.
A new generation has arrived.

That was the case with someone like Bruno Michel, the leader of F2 and F3, who gives his opinion on the five competitors and how proud he is that these guys can now all be F1 drivers. We also get a look at how F2 and F3 provide training in the professional careers of young people. According to what F1 says, the film has become "innovative and personal" and is already available to F1TV Access and F1TV Pro subscribers.
