The season-opening Australian Grand Prix is fast approaching, and things are not going well for Red Bull. At least, that's the conclusion we can draw from a recent statement from the team's technical director.
Pierre Wache reported that there is some disappointment about the progress they have managed to make. And this seems to be much less than their rivals, in addition, the car does not really work as they would like and as they initially expected.
"The first day of testing was, I think, okay. However, starting from the second day, certain problems arose, because of which we did not find the right operating range. This fundamentally defines our competitiveness. Now it is a serious problem... I think the opening will be very tight, because McLaren and Ferrari are faster than us." - said Wache optimistically, despite the difficult situation.
