Oscar Piastri has raised the bar high in the last two years, and this year he wants to raise it even higher. The Australian is not content with a supporting role and wants to collect the individual world title in addition to the constructor's one!
In his first season, he finished in 9th place, and in his second he reached 4th place, and this year, declared and undeclared, he will target the individual world title:
"I think I can become a serious contender for the 2025 world championship. I know I still have a lot to improve and learn, but I've reached the point now where there are days when I'm equipped with all the tools I need to win. I just need to put everything together. Many have said I lacked balance, but balance alone doesn't make you efficient, you also need raw speed and good tire management. I see that I need to progress in qualifying, to structure my laps better.
"I've made my job harder many times, finishing a few positions behind the available spot... Now I've reached the point where I just have to put everything together. Now we're competing at the top, here it's much more noticeable if you don't do something well, but I feel like I have everything I need to win the world title," Oscar Piastri said confidently.
