Even though the 2025 racing season hasn't even started yet, George Russell could already be the first at something. There's a good chance he'll be the one the FIA makes an example of with its new swearing regulations.
The Mercedes driver had a few words on the first day of testing in Bahrain, where he managed to mention to the streaming service Viaplay that "Oh shit, the lights went out" in reference to the power outage that disrupted the day.
Thus, he has already found himself in the crosshairs of the new regulations, which analyze whether he caused moral damage to the FIA, the perception of the organization, its members, officials and, in general, universal motorsport. What a bad joke! If the accusation proves true, then this small blunder of Russell will cost 40,000 euros. If he continues to swear, the amount could increase to 120,000 euros, after which a penalty with points and a suspension of up to a month could follow. On this basis, Yuki Tsunoda and Max Verstappen should not even start the 2025 season...
