Coming soon: Germany is expected to return with two songs

În curând: Germania ar urma să revină cu două piese

Germany is a black spot on the white carpet of Formula 1. Although many teams and interests are deeply invested in the sport, it hasn't hosted a Formula 1 race in a long time. Now, all that could change!
Formula 1 is in dire need of a return to real, traditional and strong venues alongside the so-called "plastic" circuits, which is why this is good news. It looks very likely that two classics will return from 2026, with the Nürburgring and Hockenheim both taking steps in this direction.
"We are preparing some exciting announcements. We are currently in discussions with several European race organizers, including the Nürburgring and Hockenheimring - and we hope to be able to announce good news for Formula 1 fans in the near future. This involves several European venues, including the traditional ones that are returning, and the options are open," said Stefano Domenicali.

The managers of the two tracks also confirmed that there is ongoing communication and that work is being done on this comeback:

"We believe that Formula 1 needs to find a role for the German market. We have been looking for opportunities, a connecting point and are constantly working to make this commitment happen. In principle, we believe that the annual rotation between the Nürburgring and Hockenheim is a good model, it has been a viable alternative in the past. The most important thing is to make it work, and that is why we are joining forces," the circuit operators agreed.

One thing is for sure, Audi will arrive in 2026 and there will be NO more German Grand Prix without a German factory team!
