It remains to be seen whether the 24-race record will be achieved this year, but if, for some reason, it is not achieved, F1 will certainly try again next year.
"Formula One Management, under the presidency of Stefano Domenicali, has put together a calendar that mixes modern circuits with traditional venues in a healthy way. We thank all the federations, local organizers and the many FIA volunteers for their efforts in making Formula 1 a success! It has grown into a huge, global, crowd-pulling spectacle that will soon celebrate its 75th anniversary," the official statement said.
