Scuderia Ferrari had a quiet and uneventful day, and any self-respecting F1 fan knows how important this is after the first day of testing with a new car.
The Bahrain test is of great importance to all participants, but if there is anyone for whom this is more important than anyone else, it is certainly Lewis Hamilton. A good sign is that not only he, but also Charles Leclerc had very positive statements at the end of the first day:
"It's always great to end a quiet day with a new car and not face any unexpected problems during your program. Of course, it would be too early to comment on the performance, we need to do a lot of analysis, process the data during tonight, to be wiser for tomorrow." - said Leclerc.
"It's an exciting experience to test, I love this part of the year. It's the first moment when we can see who is where, and we ourselves see, we feel what awaits us. Well, after just one lap, I can say that it was an incredible feeling to drive the SF-25. Currently, we are only in the experimentation phase, the focus is on collecting data and, of course, getting used to the car as best as possible. But even after just one day I have learned a lot, and I have a very good feeling!" - rejoiced Hamilton.
