Lewis Hamilton made a stunning statement at the Ferrari street parade in Milan. The Briton knows how to light rockets, and for this statement he will likely receive both praise and criticism - even from his own supporters...
It's nice to have seven world titles, but it doesn't offer any guarantees, especially not in a team as chaotic as Scuderia Ferrari. Moreover, making such a statement without any evidence is supported to the maximum by statistics, on paper, and there only very strictly, referring to Scuderia Ferrari. Many will probably discuss and debate Hamilton's observation, but if we look only at the former legends of the reds and their performances in Ferrari, then on this basis one could easily place Niki Lauda and Clay Regazzoni, the pair Nigel Mansell and Alain Prost, Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello, Fernando Alonso and Kimi Raikkonen, but with a little goodwill even Kimi and Sebastian Vettel. Looking at the whole picture of F1, this statement is quite banal...
It seems that Hamilton was very stimulated by the new environment, since the team change he started to fly, and this he does not hesitate to mention constantly, in an increasingly bold form: "Charles and I are probably the best pair of drivers in the history of F1" - said Hamilton.
A beautiful beginning. From here it can fall hard or, on the contrary, it can reach heaven. With time, we will see what fate will decide!
