Finally, the pictures were taken, and the seven-time world champion made a very good impression with his elegant appearance, which is completely unusual for him. Even his former boss and former creator of success was surprised by Hamilton's style, as Toto Wolff described it simply as iconic for the combination of Hamilton and the F40.
Meanwhile, several Italian publications write that Hamilton has addressed Scuderia Ferrari with the explicit request that the F40 in the dream image be definitely black (by the way, who would come up with such an idea in a red team??) The pilot wants to express his sensitivity towards social justice and the fight against discrimination in this way. Of course, Ferrari would have been technically able to fulfill this request, but they immediately refused on purely theoretical grounds. According to an insider, they also wanted to convey this message: "You can't be bigger than Ferrari!"
