Today the days of collective testing continued in Bahrain, where this time a Williams was the fastest, surpassing the two Ferraris.
Thursday the weather wasn't exactly the best, the track was cloudy and slightly damp. However, George Russell quickly managed to improve on yesterday's best result, then Lewis Hamilton took the lead. In the second hour, the surprise came, a rainfall of such intensity that it prevented further work. The reason was quite ridiculous: the teams were not prepared with rain tires (WTF??)
After the forced break, Hamilton accelerated even more, achieving the best time of the morning. This lap was surpassed only by one person, Carlos Sainz, who in the morning stage was already the closest to Hamilton, ending the day on the same composition as the Briton. Incidentally, Sainz had an extremely productive day, driving the Williams alone, completing 120 laps without any problems. The same cannot be said for Liam Lawson, who had a full day, but faced many difficulties related to the technical side of the Red Bull, and in terms of his confidence, there are still problems. McLaren "gave up" this day, last year's constructors' winner seemed to be focusing on something else, focusing more on long stages, instead of chasing times.
