We can confidently say that the FW47 is definitely a step forward. Last year we lost a lot of time because of exceeding the weight limit, but we have improved the materials used and the quality of production, which gives us a much better situation. Our previous car was very weak in headwinds, and we have worked a lot on this one, because because of these problems we had a lot of headaches. The GPS data showed that we also suffered a lot in windy conditions.
We have to see where the competition is, but all things considered, I am very optimistic. I would like to see us develop, that we are competitive, but it is already a very good sign that we are basically operating as a top team. With the arrival of Carlos Sainz, we have taken a huge step forward, he is a great reinforcement for the team! Carlos had the best season of his life last year, he had a sensational performance.
